In cases which require above-average expenditure of time and effort, in particular an extensive hearing of evidence, the fees may be increased by up to 50 per cent.
In addition the secretariat of the Beijing-Hamburg Conciliation Centre e.V. charges a lump-sum administration fee of 10 % of the fees arising under the above schedule. If the said lump sum is obviously insufficient to cover costs being incurred, the secretariat may demand an appropriate increase. In addition, reimbursement of the expenses mentioned in Art. 20 of the Conciliation Rules is required.
The value at stake is determined pursuant to the provisions of the German Code of Lawyers– Fees.
