Rules on fees
Each mediator can agree an hourly fee with the parties of EUR 150 to 350 or a daily fee of EUR 1,200 to 2,800, in each case plus the statutory VAT, for conducting the mediation proceedings pursuant to the Hamburg rules of mediation for economic conflicts.Where special circumstances pertain, an agreement deviating from this may be concluded.The reference points in determining the level of the fees can in particular include the amount in dispute and the complexity of the facts of the case to be considered.
