Foreign trade certification service in our Service Centre

Many countries require certificates of origin to be presented during when shipments of merchandise for import are being processed, along with additional commercial documentation which must be issued or certificated by the responsible authorities in the exporting countries. In some instances, legalisation of the certificated commercial documents by a Consular representative of the respective destination country in the country of export is also required. Particularly for the following documents, certification and legalisation is frequently required:

• Certificates of origin
• Trading invoices
• Freight notes
• Packing lists
• Inspection certificates
• etc.

In the Federal Republic of Germany, the Chambers of Commerce and Industry are responsible for issuing certificates of origin and other certifications to assist with foreign trade dealings, insofar as special legal regulations do no assign these tasks to other official bodies. At the Service Centre of our Chamber of Commerce, we issue certificates of origin and certifications for companies which are resident in Hamburg.
